DZYNE Leads Industry as an Early Adopter of DoD CMMC 2.0 Level 2 Certification

Milestone positions DZYNE among the first 1,000 Defense Industrial Base (DIB) companies to achieve Level 2 compliance

DZYNE Technologies today announced it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 Level 2, placing the company among the earliest adopters in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) to meet the Department of Defense’s (DoD) most rigorous cybersecurity requirements for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

The certification follows a comprehensive two-year effort led by DZYNE’s Information Technology team and positions DZYNE among the first 1,000 organizations certified at this level. The achievement reinforces DZYNE’s leadership in safeguarding sensitive defense data and its readiness to support critical national security missions.

Anthony Adinolfi, Vice President of IT at DZYNE Technologies

CMMC 2.0 is a Department of Defense (DoD) initiative designed to strengthen cybersecurity across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and reduce risk to sensitive government information. Level 2 certification requires full implementation of the 110 security practices outlined in NIST SP 800-171, validated through 320 assessment objectives, and confirms DZYNE’s ability to securely handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) across Department of Defense (DoD) programs and the broader defense supply chain, enabling trusted collaboration and mission execution.

“Achieving CMMC 2.0 Level 2 certification represents a major milestone for DZYNE and reflects our commitment to the highest standards of cybersecurity, trust, and operational excellence,” said Anthony Adinolfi, Vice President of Information Technology at DZYNE Technologies. “By pursuing this certification early, we are ensuring our customers and partners can operate with confidence as CMMC requirements continue to be implemented across the defense ecosystem.”

As the Department of Defense (DoD) moves toward broader enforcement of CMMC requirements, DZYNE’s early certification strengthens its competitive position for future contracts and underscores its long-term commitment to cybersecurity readiness and mission assurance.

The certification reflects the sustained focus and technical rigor of DZYNE’s Information Technology team, supported by organization-wide commitment to meeting the Department of Defense’s (DoD) highest cybersecurity standards.
